Intriguing collection, well named. Somehow it makes me think of what nuns call, I think, custody of the eyes, meaning keep them down, don't wander-look. But what are you to do in public, in the crowded subway? Possibly of interest: in some indigenous culture, the word of greeting is 'I see you.'
