One word, polarizer filter. This is a classic example of where a polarizer filter would have significantly helped to keep the sky blue while maintaining the proper exposure on the rest of the photo. Without the filter you could have helped this photo by underexposing abput 1 stop and then making further adjustments in the individual color channels. It is still a very nice photo. I like the symmetrical composition but I would have centered the building horizontally, as well, so that it didn't crowd the bottom edge. This scene clearly presents a difficult lighting situation. A different time of day with different lighting would probably help to get more light into the trees on the right side. 7 -T |

Nice framing and composition. I just have a bit of a problem that your main focal point is so faded out. |

Nice framing with the trees and good use of the available light to catch the reflection. Nice rich colors in the scenery, a shame there is not the same richness in the tower. Good luck JG |

I love the composition, and the reflection in the water. The tower is a little washed out though. It looks like the lighting was tough though (very bright sky, but very dark around pond). I wonder if a polarising filter would have helped - others would know the answer to this. Well done. |

The foreground colours are excellent but the colours in the distance, particularly the tower and sky look a little washed out. |

I\'m not sure this was the best choice for a landscape entry. The entry seems to focus more on the building then on the land around it... especially because that is what the lines lead to. Also it looks like the sun was coming from behind the building creating that glary white you get sorrounding the building which is fairly destracting. Very intresting building though? what is it? |

This looks like an architecture pic more than a landscape. We'll pretend its a landscape for the sake of argument. I don't like the trees being in the way. It doesn't work for me with the vertical framing. I'd have pushed the top of the building to get the rest of the reflection in the water. Good shot nonetheless - Inspzil |

it's a shame the last bit of the reflection is cut off and the sky is a little white, but i love the format and look of the photo 5 |

Lovely composition and colour. I love the way you have captured the water in this image with the tower in the background. Very beautiful landscape. Looks like a nice place for wedding photos. Well done. |
