 This macro was made with an orchid flower placed on my kitchen counter with a white board behind it. Most of my floral shots lean toward realism; I chose to go the other way with this one by blurring out the background and using a 12mm extension tube and a ND filter. The light source is a sliding glass door with an easterly exposure.
