Definatley neat to look at. I think we've all done this at some point in time of our life. I like the way you have placed it in the frame of the photo, and I like how we only see a portion of the hand. Come to think about it, very important for the challenge. lol. Seems a bit grainy, or maybe it's just the texture of the hands in the dark, unsure, but taking a shot in low light like this is tricky, and I think you have done a nice job with it. ~Heather~ |

Very interesting take on the challenge. Nice bright colors against black pops. |

I hesitate to make comments since I am obviously not an expert, but here goes: the photo meets the challenge. It is just my opinion that a photo should be able to "stand alone" apart from the challenge (not sure that makes sense, in other words, it should be a good subject even if you don't know what challenge it was entered into). I felt that was where this photo was a little weak -- I couldn't see it having meaning apart from the challenge. |

interesting, but i think you could have got this sharper. as well, the light source through the two fingers is a little offsetting.

I have the toughest time trying to capture dim lighted subjects. I love the color with a hint of yellow eclipse. Your moon knuckle photo is very well crafted being off center and thus in a area of interest. The spiked points of red vanishing in the dark background create an awsome shape. I was going to skip this one but now it seems kind of romantic like cudling in front of a full moon. Thanks for my 1st ten this challenge. |

ya, an old favorite trick, but it catches the eye with the dark background |

Funny... Every child does this trick with a flashlight... Good idea for the challenge. As a help for next time... focus the camera on the knuckles prior to having someone switch on the flashlight and turn off the overhead, so that the focus is sharp and clear. Could have been wonderful

I love this photo, simple, very striking and above all it meets the challenge most effectively. 10
