 This is my first-ever submission, so I am not sure what to put here -- they are building a new roundabout about a mile from our house -- the process and the finished product will represent a significant and welcome transition for our community!

Painful transition! I would have liked maybe the construction part to be a more prominent part of the photo, but the view here also reminds me that road construction sucks when you live right there. I wasn't completely wowed by the photo, but I liked the creativity.

No one said the transition can't be abrupt. This in your face image really illustrates that. I like how, within this stoppage of traffic, the wires arcing between the telephone poles brings a sense of motion to the scene.
