Very glad this shot scored well. It's more a personal shot I suppose and to have people like it and experience it as I did on the day is great.

This young lady certainly had a presence about her. after this shot i had to of course show her the photo. She was horrified with it and just threw her headcloth off and said.. "Take again". Who was I to argue and I took some other angles, closer shots etc.
Upon viewing these shots without the headcloth she was impressed and said.. "That is good - beautiful"
This was taken on the last day as we left the mountains. Yes, the beauty of the berg was captured and we had ample opportunity to take landscapes but this image remains vivid in my memory of the hike with some good friends and two of my boys.

Oh how I love images like this! You have completely caught the mood of the environment and the photo evokes questions and makes a wonderful statement. I'm not sure that DPC members are enamored of this kind of shot but it deserves to be on the front page for sure and probably a ribbon.
