Sorry about the DQ, but as other have mentioned it is still a fab image and was voted to its ribbon. |

Congrats on the ribbon, Cynthiann, even if it doesn't survive. This was the standout shot to me. |

They didn't get the request on time and now that it ribboned, it's going to be a public DQ. First time I sat up until midnight praying for my score to go DOWN, LOL! | I can't reply to PMs (banned for a very long time), but it was easy to spot since they're side by side on your profile.
You don't have to defend yourself. Even after the DQ you can still rejoice that you did beat all but two in the FS. |
Hard to rejoice while anticipating a public lynching, lol. Why did this have to ribbon!! It wasn't intentional, just me being a dumbass. Again, I requested that it be removed before voting was over... |

Hopefully using the same image you did in your Dirds composite doesn't get you DQ'ed. |

Nice catch. Maybe a bit grainy then "cleaned" a bit aggressively and the colors don't fit what I'm familiar with for a blue jay; they're usually closer to a royal blue. |

Great capture! The DOF is great with just that bit of motion in the wings. Not sure why you desaturated the jay, but maybe if you left everything fully saturated the background was too distracting, but you weren't happy with B&W, either. I just kinda' miss the beautiful color I associate with these birds. |

Great capture! How bold to desaturate the brilliance of a blue jay. And it looks good. |
