People are bothered by the horizon -- I should have better anticipated that. Actually, the image is level but the land slopes to the right. Just over the rise is Lake Michigan and that is the Chicago skyline on the right.

The horizon is fine and I love the teensy city way off in the distance. But you've got to clean your sensor! :-)

nice lone tree against the city.

p.s. I would try to loose the sharpening artefact, mainly around the tree.

This is a cool composition
I love the use of the negative space
Wish the horizon was straight but i understand with the tree
Also , it looks like some type of ghosting going on up the side of the tree

Very nice shot. Delicate all the way through --- tree, snowy foreground, distant city, sky and clouds.
On a personal note, my new year's resolution is to be more accepting of contrails.
