| The stamens are well composed and exposed. Macro does not allow more DoF - so a pat on the back. |

| Would of loved to see a larger DOF since the peddles of the flower takes up 90% of the photograph. |

| Very fine picture, but I think it would have been even better had you cropped out the top 20% of the picture not only to focus on the stamens, which are the point of the contest, but to improve compositional balance. |

| If the title was "Flower" or whatever - this would've been a "part". When you named it "stamen", actualy we can see the whole stamen, not its part. But on the other hand I know, the topic wasn't described clearly :) The colours and composition is good. Maybe a bit tooo much blur in the background, but I'm not sure. 6. |

| This is a great picture,I grow over 400 varities of daylilies myself I take a lot of close up shots with insects on them. |

| nice macro, like the colors, especially the underside of stamens which your good crop brings my eyes to. |

| wow amazing photo! deffinitely think this will be one of the top placers! the use of DOF is amazing and colour is wonderfully vibrant! congratulations on a superb photo and deffinitely will be back to see how it rates overall :D |
