 Although this is not the image I wanted to submit I couldn't resist showing the stunning results this remarkable compact camera gives. Apart from minimal sharpening and curves auto adjustment this is as it came from the sensor.

Happy to say i've joined the club Sid. Only played with it for a couple of hours but happy so far. Everything i'd heard about it seems spot on so far. Defintely a camera to go slow with! I got a great deal on it and am hoping to get another Merrill to join it in the coming weeks.

Do not hesitate in getting one Clive, they are quite simply stunning, but do be prepared to put up with the cameras many foibles and really slow down your image making but in my eyes that's no bad thing. As for the Merrill 1 that's exactly what I intend to do, once I have one I am seriously contemplating getting rid of the rest of my gear I am enjoying using this camera so much!

Lovely, got a 7 from me. Particularly interesting to see because i'm contemplating getting the DP Merrill 3 (and maybe the 1 to pair it with). I used to have the original DP 1 years ago and really liked it so have an idea of their operational limitations and also the image quality. These new Merrils look like amazing cameras.
