 Edinburgh Botanic Gardens: definitely a natural habitat!!!
The most curious of all the squirrels in the gardens that day....she (can't you tell?) took a peanut out of my hand. Shot with flash from a distance of about a metre. Aiming to get the tail as the frame in the background.

Very nice squirrel picture, the colors are very nice. I think I would have enjoyed it more if you could have seen more of her, the crop seems a bit tight.

how many comments have you gotten with the word cute in them? well, here's another one...

wish the lighting wasn't so strong on the peanut. that tends to keep my focus, rather than keeping it on the animal. all the same, this is a nice capture. hope it does well for you.
