Well, I'm stunned to say the least. This has been floating just under a 7, with a few forays just above!

My poor children! This time, it's my son. He generously agreed to climbing into this box for me when I suggested this pic... then was not quite so generous as I carted him around and had him climb in and out at at least half a dozen different locations! His favourite was when the box was in the water - he said it was much cooler! I'll post a few outtakes after the challenge if you want.

For anyone who is concerned - he was never in there for very long, the lid was never ever 'sealed' and I had two other adults with me the entire time! I may put my kids through some weird stuff, but I make damned sure they're safe.

But, for future reference, I seem to be leaving a fairly wide evidence trail... ;)

David Blaine's '57 naked years in an empty box' was set to be his epic career-defining stunt. The first 3 years were the hardest; waving to spectators and trying to keep his morale high by humming show tunes to himself. But the massed crowds got bored and slowly wandered off, the TV crews found other events to cover and the newspapers found more interesting and more important stories to cover. After 6 years Blaine started to cheat by leaving the box at night and occasionally sleeping in a nearby hotel, booked under a pseudonym, from where he stole soap and shampoo. He slowly realised that all his 'stunts' were actually pointless and after 7 years never went back to the box and took a job at Amazon, ironically, boxing presents.
