 Fragment of an iPhone picture of tow truck in a gas station parking lot at night, with smudged steel metal fuel tank looking abstractly oriental. Peaceful feeling despite the grunge. For my 100th entry, it seems fitting to post an image captured because of my delight in finding unexpected beauty in the most mundane of everyday objects. Unlikely to score well, but that doesn't feel important. Hope some of you enjoy it.

Edited to add: I went back and learned this is not a gas tank, it is a large metal toolbox attached to the truck. More expansive view of the subject looks like this:

I went looking for this after voting. Hoping you had notes. Curious. Thank you! My mind tried desperately to find something to recognize in this & failed completely. Beauty is probably there all the time in the most everyday objects, we just don't see it. Glad you captured this one & even more that you entered it. Thanks again.

frightening......then compelling...I turn fears to curiosity.... why do I need to know what some of these images actually are.....does explanation quell fear?
perhaps... holds attention long enough to ask then when I start guessing I make myself just a little anxious..... is it wrong to try to explain to myself....is my reality valid.....or an exercise toward coping or stimulating creativity? like half a rorschach high mark
