Challenge: The Exact Same Spot (Expert Editing)

Usually, I tend to prepare my images quite a lot, so that I know everything I need beforehand: setup, props, clothes, lighting, models, pose, etc. It was not the case here. My wife and I were simply spending a few hours walking next to the ocean, when we saw that bird cage for sale in a small shop: we thought it would be fun to use it in a little picture, so we quickly improvised a concept and tried to shoot it. My dear wife was courageous enough to step into the (very) cold water, and throw those paper planes around... needless to say most walkers were looking at us with doubtful eyes. Quite a fun day!

ETA: I will be away when this challenge ends, as I have been invited to be a jury member of the "Al Thani Award for Photography 2013" challenge, in Austria. I am sure it is going to be great, discussing with great photographers and voting on fantastic photos... See you soon! |
