 This was taken at the vast Hayman burn area. The fire in 2002 burned around 135,000 acres. These Aspen were some of very few tree's in the area. They are usually only yellow, but this little grove for some reason had the orange tops which gave it the appearance of fire. It was snowing, and starting to come down quite heavy when I spotted these, and was only able to get a few shots under an umbrella before the snow started to cover everything.

Very nicely done. So many wonderful elements in this image. No stretch at all to recognize fire. I really like the white tree bark on the lower trees juxtaposed with the black dead trees on top. Good luck!
