Interesting approach to "landscape". I like it. |

This is a great abstract. The patterns are really cool. This is not a good pic for this challenge IMO. The light and dark split of this make it even more cool. - Inspzil |

Very neat shot. I'm not sure how much it meets the challenge but it is a great abstract. |

It's a stretch, this is more of a texture to me. But it's a very nice texture - light/shadow contrast is effective. |

The only problem I have with this picture is that there is no sense of depth... It looks too me like I am looking straight down; however, if you were to move the camara and point it more towards the sky (still keeping all sand in the pic) - maybe only 6-10 degreess more, this would be very pleasing... oringaly a 6, after reevaluation 8 :) |

Nice curves. I like the contrast between the shadows and light. Good Job. Jacko. |

Right side is a little too dark. If it was a little brighter, and kept the light/dark aspect that you were going for, it would have helped. I think this may be perfect in B&W. Great lines! |

Nice pattern shot. A little too dark on the right. And the light thingy in the upper right is a bit distracting. The composition might have been better with the transition point maybe at the 1/3 right osition instead of in the middle. But OK, I sound like I'm ripping it when in fact I like it a lot. So good job! 8 md |

I had to think about it a long time, but then I decided this doesn't fit the category |

I love this one. The lines, texture, composition and colour are all excellent. What captivated me about this photo is the lines and the dark shadow halving the photo. Very well done. Looks like a winner 10 :) |

very nice photo. i like how the shade and the sun divide the picture, great texture. it's not the closest to my interpretation of a "landscape" (which really doesn't include macros/close-ups), but i'll give you the benefit of the doubt here as i can see where you are coming from. just slightly reducing your score. |
