A visit from the critique club :)
Wow, I really like this photo. The photo is very sharp, well lit and has a lot of detail.
One thing I don't understand however, is that the moon in the photo or dust or something? I have mixed feelings on it, it seems oddly shaped and is kind of in the middle of nowhere just drawing your eye to it even though we should be looking at the landscape.
I love the old tall tree to the left contrasting to the much smaller tree a few feet back. It has a lot of detail in the bark and the branches.
Snow is also a nice touch to the scene. Perfectly exposed as well. |

| Almost a silhouette but with some good highlights on the trunk and branches. Great shadows on the snow, lovely composition! |

| Love the colors and contrast, wish the sky had less noise. It would have been nice to have been able to capture the top of the tree, too for my taste. |

| Great colors. I'm a sucker for earth, snow and blue sky in a photo. Too bad the moon was not a bit lower - it kind of throws off the balance of the photo. Still, a very nice shot. 8 md |

| Well, it's not the prettiest tree in the world, but it works. I like the one in the distance better, but the larger one creates some balance. Colors are beautiful. Great job capturing the snow. Snow is hard for me. Always turns out blue. Cute little moon, but it almost looks like something on the photo, lint or something. I know it's a moon though. Good luck in the challenge. |

| Very nice. I really like the sky. The tree is a bit dark, but doesn't really take away that much from the pict. 9 waltoml. |

| Really well composed image. Good use of 3rds with a really nice blue sky in just the right place :) It isnt totally my definition of a landscape but its very good. Maybe neatimage could fix the little bit of grain in the sky. All in all great shot, 8. |
