This was fun. I had some early idea, good ones, and they never came to life. I tried, didn't work. Just didn't like it.
Then I ran into this scene. Just had to stop the car, hang the empty frame I had in the passenger seat, and take a shot. Ha, this cracks me up :)
Of course, I'm sure some will vote it down because the hanging frame doesn't appear on a wall. But too bad for those folks, as they are to buried in symatics to notice the beauty here.
This is all from a single photo. Did a bit of editing to it, then got to work on the frame. Used a few duplicated frames with some twisting, turning, and positing. But then it looked unrealistic.
So I added shadow to the inside of the frame. More specifically, I created a gradient to look like shadow, and added it to all four sides individually. This allowed me to give more shadow power to the upper right side, which is where the sunlight is mainly coming from.
The end result....I like it :) |
