OK.. either you loved the grass or you hated it. I thought it added dimension and a little mystique. The weather is not at its best on Oahu in January. The Kona winds bring in the volcanic fog from the Big Island and it's near impossible to get a good sky. 175 photos this day and most were dissapointing. Thanks for the votes, the contructive comments, and the great competition... Cub

| All the small weeds in the front of this shot are cluttering it up , if you have the oportunity to re-shoot this try it with perhaps just a bit of the palm tree that I see peeking in the top right, or just a couple of the weeds. The foggy, misty look of this shot and the forms of the ridges are beautiful and you have given me a sense of the moisture in the air. |

Wow, made me want to find out where this place is. Hawaii eh? I just ended up spending half an hour looking through a couple of galleries of the area on pbase : )
The first thing that grabs my eye is the mist, then the grass framing the image perfectly, then the layers in between. This is great. 10

| I like the grass in the foreground, nice touch. The roof top takes a tiny bit of the wilderness feel away, but on the unavoidable side. Was a wider view possible? (just an idea) 7 Swash (I should joke with you about using a haze filter to remove the haze..... I hope you know I am joking!) |

| Nice, but I think that the plants in the foreground are a little too distracting. I would've prefer to see only one branch in the foreground instead of a lot of them. Good luck! |
