 What I put myself through for this site sometimes!

I didn't have a fear of drowning before. Now I do.

I filled a tub, setup my camera and flashes, and grabbed a remote shutter. The first time I went under so much water ran up my nose it was dripping out for 2 minutes.

I got the hang of it, and went down about 8 times, trying to get that perfect shot. Not easy to do when you REALLY feel like you are drowning. What a terrifying feeling. Not something I will repeat soon.

Eventually I got the shot, dried off, and started editing. That night I had headaches and stuffiness caused by the experience. Let's hope I don't have nightmares!

FYI, this isn't the shot I want to enter. I had a much creepier shot that looked like I was dead in the water, with eyes partially closed and no movement. But my wife hated it so much, it started to make her cry, and she told me she didn't want that on the internet.

have to love the fact that you waterboarded yourself for the shot. At some some point, we are going to need to see the creepy shot you did...
