 It's just priceless to have other sets of eyes to give honest opinions prior to submitting to challenges. This challenge, like the "Beginning of the End" challenge, I had my mind set on what I was going to enter but the Shutter Down team gently nudged me in the right direction. It just makes me wonder how many other entries would've had a better result if I'd have gone with a different crop or another entry alltogether.

Here is the crop that I was going to enter before the feedback:

Looking at it now, I know this wouldn't have done as well.

This was taken during the Scott Kelby World Wide Photowalk which took place in old Haleiwa town on the north shore of Oahu. I have many good memories of catching waves on this side of the island every year during the winter surf season. I don't really come up here much anymore, but should.
