Power pink indeed - I like that this is something different from the rest. I like how it shows the action of getting ready for the day tightening the tie. It is a good shot but needs a little attention in the light department in balancing the play of light. The left half has too much light causing details and highlights to blow out while the right bottom has too little causing deep shadows. If you can be sure to balance your lights so that there is even lighting all around. If you have a histogram function on your camera that will tell you if some areas are blown out or too dark. |

I love it when men are confident enough to wear pink. Way to show your support! Nice crop and great color choices for contrast. My favorite in this challenge.

| Just a bit too bright on the upper left of the photo - pulls the eye there. Maybe diffuse the light a little? I'm hopeless with artificial light, but there are those on DPC who are very good and are more than willing to assist if you ask after the challenge. Also, I like the crop to keep the top of the hecktie in, but a slightly deeper depth of field to keep the entire tie crisp would accentuate the pinkness a bit more. |
