The joyful sense of abandonment distracts from the fact that this is an extremely well-constructed image. Love the cheerleader in the back...

This image has caused me to stop and pay attention. That means it is in my 7-10 voting band. (Voted earlier)

Additionally, it is highly interesting/eclectic meaning it keeps me here long enough to offer a longer comment and a vote of 8 or more.

This is one of my 8s - I like it. Furthermore I think it enriches the DPC collective portfolio. Put simply, I wish we saw more stuff like this. Let me tell you why it pushes all the right buttons for me:

1. The nostalgic feel.

2. The sense of fun in action.

3. The engagement of the supporting cast.

4. The toning and the low contrast feel.

5. The low POV.

Overall, lovely stuff.

Love the processing which makes this look like an old style retro photograph capturing a moment in time that happened decades ago. Happy memories - heh, yup I used to swing so high and then leap off the swing as a kid too. Great action shot of all three girls in the state of leaping off. Great expressions on the faces too, ranging from intense concentration to pure joy.
