Charming. A touch low contrast and dark, but really close overall.

Not sure I love the composition choice, but I think it's good at the least, maybe great. This is a great example of exactly what minimal is supposed to emphasize. You've demonstrated some pretty serious skill here.

A next step would be managing to get a catchlight in those beautiful eyes.

having a little girl roughly the same age, I understand the poignancy, the proportion, and perhaps photography's noblest goal, to capture a scene, out of time, forever in the moment.

You know, this is such a lovely photograph, and I am so pleased it is a minimal editing challenge. People would be so tempted to edit the crap out of this and really, it's just so very lovely as it is. Very real. Very warm.
