For those who asked about the technique, It is a flag under a suspended glass with water drops on it (the glass is treated with RainX). There was a tutorial on how to do this by John Seltzer -Jmseltzer- (who I believe introduced the technique to DPC) but I cannot find it now, it is a shame, it was great!!!.
For those who asked about the subject, xtabintun was right, it is the Venezuelan flag.

Amazing how these waterdrops look like gas balloons. Bumping up. |

Oh my - so welll done. My second or so challenge was the same technique. I hope you don't get beat about the way I was. I was accused of stealing, being unimaginative and nearly inhuman! The introducion of the yellow color is a great touch. I hope you do well - good luck. |

Viva Venezuela! I love this shot. There are so many drops of varying shapes that it adds to the wonderful composition. Good job, I hope this does well. |

Very well done! So sharp and such great color. At first it didn't seem to feel complex, but on second though, there are so many and so varied drops, especially tiny ones, that it really is a complex photograph. Cool.
Although I KNOW you'll get comments like 'the waterdrop effect is overdone' this is a well executed shot. My only complaint really is the right side is kind of blurry compared to the left side which is really sharp. 7. |

I like this, well done and fits the challenge very well. It will amaze me if this will not be in top 10, It wouldn't amaze me if this will land a ribbon for you. |

Nicely executed, but this genre is over-used in challenges (IMHO) although it is still stiking and scores well. |

I love the simplicities of this photo, makes me fell very strange... Is that a flag on the back? Its just that "the sum of the simplicitties makes a great complexity" |

Looks like the Albuquerque balloon gestival with a patriotic theme! Not wholly originl to dpc, but a superior example of how to do this RIGHT. |

Well done recreation of a theme that works. Complex both in appearance and in subject therefore it fits this challenge well. 9. |

An incredible photograph. Striking colors, unique concept, sharp image, etc. I hope you left comments on your technique, because I'd love to see how you set this up. Easily one of the best photos in this challenge. Good luck!
