Nice concept- poor lighting

Sharing one small 3100 Nikon camera with many students, we often make the same effect of reflecting flash light on dimly lit indoor subjects. The flash seen on the desert was distracting. Can I please have leftovers when your done? Thanks.

Out of focus and some bad light reflections.

Those little tuxedo strawberries are very interesting! I think, had you focused on those alone, the composition would have been stronger. With a black background and a good light source (and less flash), this could be a really neat picture.

Looks like just normal desert. Hey these berries are real interesting in suit. If you putted just them together in middle + zoom, i think it would be real good shot.

Don't see how this constitutes 'wacky' and the glare off the cake in the middle is very distracting

Just looks like a snap shot of a plate of desserts.

Wonderful desserts, not so wacky, and I don't like the exposure

Very cute strawberries with their tuxedos. Although that is out of the ordinary, the overall composition and point of view is not. I would have liked to see the entire plate in focus. The foreground desserts are blurry so I tend not to give them much attention. The middle piece has a very annoying spotlight. Overall color balance seems biased towards red. The bottom could also be cropped a bit tighter and maybe even to the inner circle of the plate. I would like to crop the odd shape in the lower left corner. And the background pattern is mildly distracting.

watch your white balance. a nice 'auto colour' in photoshop would work.

The strawberrys are adorable. I would have liked to see a close up of just one of those.
