**********I guess I went too far with the border. I honestly thought it would at most be treated as a texture overlay. Really is no matter.

Thanks for the great comments. This confirms what I believe the challenge in DPC is all about. Motivation to shoot, presenting the shot, getting some views and some feedback, all scores and such aside. Keeps me coming back.

This just might be my sentimental favorite of the challenge, and I'd give it a PH blue. The crop is masterful, and bold. So eloquent and full of love, possibility, tenderness. The enormous negative space at her back, filled with a curled paper of the day's news and other pedestrian elements hints at time filled with ordinariness, while the child's gaze and the tender touch of the almost unseen adult tell us of what is truly great. Bravo.
