I had hoped for a low 6 even though I know cats don't score well here, esp in FS, but it looks as if that was in vain. Maybe the next 40 will bring me to a tiny violin? I'm not a huge cat lover, either, but I really thought the setting and unusual composition would work in my favor.

Excellent, I like how the blueish tint links the two corners of the image, very elegant cat. It seems to be very good material for black and white too.

It's a nice photo but it's missing that wow factor for me, it's sharp well exposed and focused with good placement of the cat.
