 Title is the opening lyrics from Led Zepplin's "Black Dog"..but you already knew that! :-)
This is our girl Molly. She was sick the day of the shot. Projectile diarrhea! Not fun! We woke at 4:30 A.M. to a nasty smell and a mess to clean in her crate. She usually has that typical lab energy, but is pretty mellow today.

So I woke up to 12 votes at 8.0833...wow! very happy!
at 25 it's still sitting at 7.640. Could I actually get a personal best out of this?? Did I just jinx it?! Time will tell :-)

Thanks all!!...Thankfully Molly is much better (she's a lab, so I have to assume it's something she ate..or something she shouldn't have eaten!)

Great job on this photo. Dark fur has about the highest 'degree of difficulty there is.' This deserved the blue. Congrats!!!

Congratulations on the blue! This shot is gorgeous and the texture of the dog's coat is fabulous. She looks so silky I really want to pat him.

eta She looks such a picture of health. I sure hope she's gotten over 'the runs'.

How can this not be a 9/ Tack sharp nose, and eyes, an angle that you would normally not see so much detail in the eyes . Really fabulous and the lighting is outstanding

I thought of doing this myself, as I have a black lab, but I would've gone about it quite a bit differently, more understated and low key. But, having seen your treatment, I've second thoughts. Very nice.
