Hi Amanda, ditto JulietNN the black line through it killed it for me. Is your monitor brightness too low so you didn't notice it during PP? (It got a 6, possibly 8 without the line)

ETA: Try this online monitor calibration tool, not perfect but the price is right :)

Nice rim lighting on this, I am sure people have said something about the colour though, maybe doing a layer in black and white and just reducing op, to take a slight hint of the colour out, not much just a little. But the biggest problem you have is that thick solid black line running through it, a shame 5

Interesting. I can give leeway from the amount of black, but I imagine many are going to DNMC you.

I think it is a nice photo, but I am not sure that it follows the criteria.

"Take a photo in which the background is black and the subject is predominately a black as well."

I feel that this does not meet the criteria based on the wording. The subject should have been black before any changes.
