I guess that most people know the Galileo thermometer.
So I hope this thermometer will fit as an Everyday Object.
Otherwise I'll be sc***ed.

I had to find a way to lit the thermometer from beneath with a flash.
This lighting from below allowed me to shoot the colours much richer, without getting too much glare from the thermometer or the glass bulbs but while still getting their reflection which I wanted.

Here is the rather ridiculous way how it was done:
- blocked a flash in a round element
- put the snoot on the flash. The snoot had the perfect dimension to
- put the thermometer on the snoot

this way hardly showed the glass edges of the thermometer but in a few places.

Execution is not what it should be. I'll settle for a 4.x score on this entry.

An interesting experiment. I rather enjoy the result!
