Congrats, Ale!!!! On all the well-deserved accolades. I look at this and think it could easily be a fabulous set on a stage. The theater of life. |

I liked many of your images, but none as much as this one.
It's like Storm Thorgerson meeting intimate photography.
I find it very moving.
Sometimes is good to have little time and only one shot, if we put in all we have got, seemingly effortlessly.
Well done.

Under close inspection I can see the Speedo. My first impression was a man walking into the ocean fully dressed with a cane. Anyhow, I love the light and the water detail. |

This is curiously "me". I feel a great resonance with it, and it echoes but does not copy some themes I see in my work. Very well done.
*******
For the sheer strangeness of the thing, for the old man hobbling into the sea, for the heedless fishing boat on its way, and for the hunched water troll in the middle ground between reality and drowning, I give you a Bronze Bear Paw.

intriguing composition, with small isolated elements distant from each other on two planes. the man in the water with what seems to be a cane adds some Surrealism to the mix. even though there is a horizon, it's all the same color, so the background is rather flat, emphasizing the isolation of each element. good image.
I'm hanging this in my fantasy bear cave

gorgeous composition of the elements. The far horse looking pump(?) nails it for me.
p.s. the title distracts me. |
