Taken in the Arts District in Asheville, NC. We parked the car to walk to the Glassblowers shop and I spotted this artist's studio with the brilliant red. I knew that this would fit perfectly for the challenge and the lighting on the building just illuminated it beautifully.

There was another shot taken later in the day it started to rain so we were driving home from the Arts District when I spotted this red boxing glove sculpture ahead. I knew my husband was not going to stop so I quickly took out my camera and I took the shot as we drove past - but the angle of my shot really bothers me. It was just up the street from this spot too. Had I only walked up further and asked the gent sitting outside to pose with it - well, it would have been great. Here is the shot:

Great shot. I like the detail and the red circle is so interesting. The shot looks slightly off (straighten), but perhaps its the asymmetry of the circle?
