Beautiful image. I had a horse that was dun very similar and oddly her blade was also very similar to this horse.
This is well shot and processed I love the jet black against the hair. |

You have accomplished two things with this photo that I appreciated greatly in a second, longer viewing.
1. You highlight the regal and still beastly beautiful nature of horses.
2. Through use of composition, a black background, and light at the right spots to enhance detail, there is a lingering feel, and pleasing tonality especially in the spots on the horses face, where the pigment fails, and white gives way to pink nose and mouth flesh. |
