This was the perfect excuse to take a picture in my own neighborhood of a pattern of shadows that happens every sunny day at about noon, on the Eichler designed homes that catch the sun on my street then.

Crop, intensify the colors slightly, viveza 2, save for web.

Hmm you could have entered this in the shadow and light challenge too! I like the lines formed by the shadows and the bright color. A nice image for this challenge

You did.

And it worked. :)

Mostly I didn't like the images in the challenge that were taken in very hard light - but you made this work like a champ. Well done, and VERY happy. The palate of red, white, and black is also very powerful, and reminiscent of one of his more powerful shots.

I do, however, think the inclusion of the tree shadow was a very sad mistake, as it ruined the pure geometric feel of this image, and distracts me while viewing it.

Seriously this could have been an 8 or a 9 easy with a different crop.
