It started out as a tiny violin with 5.9167 and dropped to 5.7500.
Then started climbing up again.
50-vote brought it to 6.2600.
Another 4 days to go and a lot still can happen.

An interesting angle for a water drop shot - the formed figures are well described by your title. I also like the tiny droplet floating to the left.
