A still life featuring all-fake food! Lit by ambient light from a large window to the left with my reflector being used as a diffuser. Camera on tripod.

post challenge: Holy liftin did I ever get a spanking from one commenter (who later had it removed) about using fake food. I saw it in a local antiques and collectables store and thought it would be interesting to shoot sometime...like maybe for a still life challenge...so eh wala.
So I did use it, in-store, especially as I didn't really feel like spending $$ on shoot food. The steam is from my Polti Vapor vapour machine, which I use in my business. Almost works as well as a smoke machine!
And no fear, peeps. In food challenges I use REAL food. |
