These are my neighbor's dogs, who had come down to my pond with his 4-year-old to do some fishing. I was also surprised by the dogs' reaction to the fish, couldn't figure out if they were just excited by the activity (the fish wriggling on the line) or were truly anticipating a meal. The dogs even jumped into the water a few times to "chase" a fish as it was being reeled in.

Excellent shot and I don't know why it is down in 99th position. Should be a lot higher.

Priceless; love the expressions of ANTICIPATION of dog treats I hope. I don't think I have ever seen a dog that liked raw fish, lol. Great capture.

My dog hates fish.....! Whereas my cats would scratch your eyes for one! The inclusion of the edge of the hand is spot on.......

Really?? Cats I can understand -- dogs??

Fun catch. For some reason, I'm really wishing the front paws were all in the shot on this one. Probably because it looks like they're about to raise up, and it makes the crop feel a little awkward. Still like it though -7-
