Back and forth on this one - it was always a player but I couldn't decide whether it met the challenge beautifully or the fact that the fly silhouette is so important and does not at all fill the frame hurt it. Just bumped. Top ten for me.

| One of my faves (t5, not sure of my order yet though). The illuminated leaf has obviously been done before, but that doesn't make it any less challenging or impressive. Your focus is spot on, and the detail in the leaf is great. The fly being in silhouette was perfect. It made it a unique leaf photo, but by being in shadow it reminds you that the leaf is the subject filling the frame, not the fly. Good luck, I really enjoyed this one! |
