 Natural light from window in front of and above the model, just to the right. Black cloth background in front of her below the window.
White card in model's lap reflecting light up under chin. White card behind camera reflecting fill light onto model's hair. Very little editing. Brightness, Contrast, Unsharpen Mask, Duotone.

regardless of placing, i loved this shot. It is very emotive and possibly too subtle. Yer, you have done a wonderful job in bringing out such tenderness.

needs more touch - still many things are good, light, compostion and negative space.

Nicely posed, well lit, good contrasts and tone. Wish there were a slight bit more focus in the foreground hand, but it still works.

I took the same shot but I couldn't pull it off, so I reverted to an old classic: a red tack in my finger - I was going for more of the shoulder, this pose is really hard to represent, nice lighting.
