The soundwave of the forest fire printed all over it. Lovely image, my favorite. The black border adds to the sadness.

There is something about this picture that I totally love. It's simple, nicely processed and pretty much shouts to me "melancholy". Sorry that the forest got burnt though.

Strong image and a good take on the topic. Like mine I think the processing could be better esp some sharpening halos but I ultimately vote on content as long as it's not destroyed by processing. 7

This stark scene illustrates the brutality of fire very well (and was a bit of a jolt as it came up in voting straight after the fog shot.)
