The sun and clouds and the water and the birds and the fish all bore witness to the trees.

"Come closer, I'll tell you something."

She leaned in.

"Listen, my love. Listen to me as I tell you of my love."

The two spoke for hours, gazing upon the water.

In celebration the sun lit the clouds and the clouds lit the water, and the beauty of the day was complete.

In your photo I see love steadfast against all. I see union. And I see sorrow and loss. I see beauty and life and the passage of time.
