My wife and I often shop in a local center that lines its entry lanes with rows of tulips. And every spring we always both comment on how beautiful they are. So, when spring came up as a challenge, they were the first thing to come to mind. I've seen many similar images so I really wasn't expecting this to do that well even though I personally think its quite pretty. Guess I was wrong, you folks enjoy pretty to.

I wasn't around for this challenge, but I did however see this when it ended, I loved it so much, you did a wonderful job with that low angle and the long shutter speed, it's so alive, well done.

This photo has added a new and exciting perspective and angle for me to take flower shots in the future. Admittedly I haven't taken many flower pictures. However, your camera angle, use of a wide lens, with the beautiful sky for a backdrop is absolutely gorgeous. I can't wait to attempt this myself. Remember "imitation is the sincerest form of flattery".

Congrats on the finish! How fitting that two of the three on the podium would be tulip shots :).

I think you should've gotten the red, though - your shot is superior to mine, both photographically and in terms of processing.

Great perspective. Really makes this stick out from the other similar shots in this challenge. A slightly more blurred clouds (ie.longer exposure) and this would've rocked!

This is absolutely beautiful. The intense blue sky and vibrant green leaves dotted with the flowers. It looks surreal. If I was a bug I definitely would want to live in this forest. My favorite in this challenge for sure.

Beautiful colors and great details in the tulips and the soft blue sky with clouds. Great point of view where it projects the idea that the flowers tower over us as we look up at their springtime beauty.
