Once again I'm submitting to a challenge on the last hour. This is just something that I took "in a hurry" on my way home from down town. In Photoshop I used Levels, Unsharp mask, crop, converted it to duotone and added a border.

Very pretty. I'm glad you kept this as color to keep the steely-blue color of the water.

I like the latin name. I know Larus is seagull, but I don't know what fuscus is. Beautiful shot. Seems a bit noisy. cool water

At first I thought, 'nice'. But after looking, I began to feel confused. 1 The silhouetted bird needs a proper reflection, and 2 the horizontal lines are very dynamic, adding movement to the bird's stopped action. However, the waves inhibit a clear water-based reflection, which ultimately impedes the overall composition. Still, a very good photo. 7

Nice photo, I like the silhouette of the seagull but it looks like too many people are trying to copy the Stopped Motion 1 blue ribbon winner.

Beautiful. The exposure and composition stand out the most to me. The depth of field is also perfect for this scene.

I like the choice to black out the bird. It works well witht the texture on the water.
