Condor #23
Taken on vacation.
This may not do well, but it's the best I could come up with on our return.
Found the details of the challenge at the local library in Page, AZ. Thank you to the friendly librarians who helped me hook up to the internet there!
Just glad to be back in the game after my computer crashed prior to vacation and my x-drive arrived the day before we left. Am I here now?

I think I could have done much better with the post-processing. I think I may have better condor shots--just not necessarily ones appropriate for "stop motion".

Looking at this now, it seems cold and barren. Far from what I remember experiencing.

Hey, this is very impressive stopped motion. Great position and wonderful and breathtaking background. Very good craftmanship. Bumping up.

I think this had the potential to be an excellent shot, but the angle makes it very difficult to make out the birds features. That makes it difficult instead of pleasing to the eye.

The muted tones of the background are wonderful but your subject fills such a small portion of the frame, and is so poorly lit that it is hard to see and detracts from the overall impact of this image, which has a lot of potential. If you could have zoomed in more, and shot the image at a time of the day that would have assured better lighting it would have improved the results.

Ribbon - if this isn't in the top 3 then the voting public has no taste.

I really like the whole picture. Would have been terrific if we could see the bird a bit better.

Great shot! Fits the challenge. Glad to know the Condor still around. Take this from a plane?
