Challenge: Refraction of Light II (Advanced Editing VII)
Camera: Nikon D2X
Lens: Nikon AF Nikkor 50mm f/1.8
Date: Apr 6, 2013
ISO: 100
Shutter: 3
Date Uploaded: Apr 7, 2013

Phal seen through a water drop, placed with a syringe on the lip of another Phal.

Reversed 50mm lens - aperture unknown.
I like working with the reversed lens technique, but it is so hard to get the focus spot on. It lacks sharpness on the drop, but this was the best one that came out of all the attempts.
Tried several takes with a reversed 28mm as well, which I found even harder to focus with.

1- CameraRawAdjustment

Elegant and grand. Love the beautiful sharp image in the globe/marble. Great composition. A really good idea well executed. 9

Very elegant, beautiful colors. A tad oversharpened and lacking of contrast.
