Thank you all for the very kind comments.
To answer some of the questions. She does not wear glasses, its only some hair that got in the way. Only noticed that on your comment. :-)
I drew the tattoo on my wife's back with a fine tip pen. Took about 2 hours. The only editing was the added smoke and sharpening.
Tattoo was romoved after the photo shoot. (PS: she does not smoke, the smoke came from an incense stick)

So, in all fairness, I don't know jack about advanced editing. I'm sure a significant amount of it was in the smoke itself. Since I'm mostly ignorant of advanced editing skill levels and techniques, I will comment only on the shot itself.

I'm not a fan of smoking, yet in spite of this, I have always been fascinated by the interplay of air, light, & smoke. I'm only a moderate fan of ink. Mostly because so many tattoo artists wind up rendering something that looks very flat, with no sense of movement. This tattoo artist has "mad skills" to make a black & white tat move like that.

Great composition, great use of a different element (smoke) to continue an artistic theme across space. Really good lighting. I'm glad you chose black & white, color would detract from the sense of movement in the tat & smoke. I like this shot's composition and execution better than several of the higher ranked shots.

The tattoo adds much interest here. I could do without the cigarette but I can see how the smoke continues your composition.

As a matter of personal taste, I don't like smoking shots but I like the model's tattoo, draws the eye right up her back to her neck, it works well. Her hair looks a bit soft; since so much of it is lost in the shadow, I might have had her pull it forward so a little more of her back was exposed.

nice black and white with good tones, the smoke goes with the title but don't think it was necessary

My love of tattoos makes me kind of biased on this, but I like the way you treated your model. the only thing that really detracts from this is her... glasses? I can't tell if she is wearing glass or if her ear caught some uneven light. I think it is an ear now that i look at it...maybe moving that one strand of hair out of the way may have helped? it is a beautiful shot, but that one little bit is distracting. I like, also, that you left some imperfections on her skin. She really is "exposed" that way. 8
