 A young coniferous tree grows in the old aspen grove. The forest cycle continues!

Lens focal length 60mm.

black/white & selenium. There is a somewhat heavier than normal dose of selenium toning applied. Will the voters notice? I don't know. It's obvious (and heavy handed) selenium toning to me, but not so much that it takes on excessive blue-ish cast.

Better size here.

Really lovely. The birch (?) trunks are beautiful and the snow laden conifer provides a great point of interest. Tones are perfect.
