 Being a member for little over a year, I have just become familiar with Shez's photography and what a special person she was. She went to great lengths to tell about each of her photos which made each one more personal to fellow members. She had a love of flowers and plants. My entry is a unique azalea which I purchased a few years ago from one of the many nurseries in my area. I think she would have enjoyed seeing this variety of azalea.
My entry might have benefited using a macro lens, however, I love this flower so much I just could not bring myself to do a closer crop. I enjoyed so much seeing all the macro shots by Shez; I can learn a lot from her methods.

A wee bit dark but the rich colour is clearly there, which is the important thing for Shez.
