The snow was blowing so fiercely that a few feet further along the road, it was impossible to stand in the road. Indeed, visibility was down to zero, and I had a few minutes of very hairy driving while I crept along at a very slow walking pace, praying that no-one was coming towards me and no-one was coming up faster behind me, all the while also hoping I had judged well where the road was!

Well done Sara. Saw the remanants of the snow on the hills at the weekend. Can imagine this was one of those moments where you were not hanging around taking photos for long! Nice break down of scores! Only one lonely 3.

The billowing snow changes this shot from an ordinary winter landscape to something dramatic and extraordianry. You can almost feel the wind and the cold.
